Invidios pe succesul de care se bucura Sponge Bob, Plankton incearca sa ii fure secretul. In momentul in care reteta dispare si se instaleaza haosul, Sponge Bob si Plankton nu au alta solutie decat sa faca echipa pentru a restabili ordinea si calmul in orasul lor. Construiesc o masina a timpului si decid sa aranjeze lucrurile. Un pirat malefic care detine un restaurant ambulant le provoaca o multime de probleme.
