• La șapte ani de la Monsterpocalypse, Joel Dawson, împreună cu restul umanității, trăiește sub pământ de când creaturile gigantice au preluat controlul asupra pământului. După ce s-a reconectat la radio cu iubita sa de liceu Aimee, care se află acum la 80 de mile distanță de o colonie de coastă, Joel începe să se îndrăgostească din nou de ea. Pe măsură ce Joel își dă seama că nu-i mai rămâne nimic sub pământ, el decide împotriva oricărei logici să se aventureze la Aimee, în ciuda tuturor monștrilor periculoși care îi stau în cale.

Seven years after the Monsterpocalypse, Joel Dawson, along with the rest of humanity, has been living underground ever since giant creatures took control of the land. After reconnecting over radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee, who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony, Joel begins to fall for her again. As Joel realizes that there’s nothing left for him underground, he decides against all logic to venture out to Aimee, despite all the dangerous monsters that stand in his way.
